Friday night we had dinner at Red Robin (mmm), although we weren't sure exactly where it was, we eventually found it. While we were waiting, they had those toy machines with the claw and the stuffed animals. Well it was full of these birthstone teddy bears with angel wings, and teddy bears with Redskins gear on. Mike wanted to play so I found him some quarters. He got one picked up and then it fell out of the claw, and I could tell he was kinda bummed, so I found him some more quarters. He picked it up by the head and it started to slip out, but the claw hung onto the bears ear. He got the May birthday bear (which is his b-day) He's cute in a cheaply made teddy bear way. But I really liked his tag. It says: May, Birthstone: Emerald. This deep green stone represents Faith, Courage and Success in Love.
Yesterday I had my feet in the kitchen sink-I had paint on them and wanted it off, the kitchen sink was more accessible than the tub-and asked Mike to hand me a towel to dry my feet off before I got off the counter. This is what he handed me:
Dishtowel washcloth things. So I put them on-unfortunately, they don't absorb water real well, so they were pretty pointless.
And last but not least,
I got up this morning and dutifully peed on a stick to feed the CBEFM, and cha-ching...if the blog is a rockin', don't come a knockin'
My body is apparently trying to match Kate's, so I'm hoping if she gets pregnant that I will too :)
(oh and family members are prohibited from commenting on my peak fertility)
